I don't mean straight. Add a little seasoning salt and olive oil.

I happen to like hot foods and have been going through chili powder quickly lately. Just tried a teaspoon of the stuff out of the jar with those added on, and was it ever good.

I put together a second batch and have been chewing on that while getting over here to add to our recipe archives. Hope I don't eat enough to start gaining weight.

I once made Chicken Paprikash with cayenne pepper. It was an accident and I was extremely drunk at the time.

1.) Cook ramen noodles
2.) Throw away flavor packet
3.) Season with Cayenne and Garlic Powder
4.) Watch your sodium level and B/P go down, down, down.

Do you also drink Tabasco sauce?

Hispanic kids here and in Mexico eat chili powder all the time, and it is actually marketed directly to them as either a fruit topping or as a candy......

Lots healthier than a Snickers bar.

Yes, this! Get a large cup with spears of cucumbers, cantaloupe, melon and watermelon. Douse them with red chili powder is the bestest!

I like chili powder on my scrambled eggs and pork chops.

That sounds really good. It would have been nice if I'd had alternatives like that. Chocolate bars were the only things we knew about, and we definitely over did it with those.

That's what I'd call a cultural advantage worth keeping.
