Welcome! Where in RI are you? I grew up in RI and my family and I moved to Vancouver, WA a couple years ago.

Hi guitarplyr. I'm in Bristol at the southern end of the East Bay Bike Path. Where do you ride. Most of my miles are solo but I ride frequently with the Narragansett Bay Wheelmen.

I used to live in Middletown near the bird sanctuary. The back roads there are pleasant. Ten speed Spokes just had their big ride of the year, The Solstice Ride that draws, probably, 150 cyclists These days I live in Bristol and ride frequently in the Tiverton/ Little Compton/ Westport area where there are several hundred miles of quiet country roads. Get yourself a Bristol County map as well as a Rubel Eastern Mass. map for many good cycling roads. I also ride frequently with the Narragansett Bay Wheelmen, http://www.nbwclub.org/, who organize rides all over R. I. and Eastern Mass. You can download scores of ride maps from the website that will keep you busy or some time.

You can PM me if you want to get together for a ride in that Tiverton/ Westport area or just show up at a club ride.
