Keep that issue contained down there by the knee.
12 inches north and that MRCA will be gnawing on your "special purpose".

The scary thing about that is how quick something like that can lead to the loss of a limb. Glad all you are dealing with is a scar!

Nice legs!

Thank you, me lady! I start lifting again this week. I need to start strengthening them again. I had a good two months of lifting and stopped due to some minor knee pain.

Supposedly the bacteria "destroys skin, muscle and a layer of tissue below the skin known as fascia". I don't see fat listed there. I must be immune. :-P

Seriously glad to know that you're doing alright and recovering. Remember that scars are an external indication of your awesomeness...

It was actually a mild case of MRSA that I picked up at a seedy hotel in Ohio. The scar will likely take years to mellow out.

I heard on the radio this morning that the CDC is investigating the death of some flesh eating bacteria. They said some man in PA was infected, but suddenly the bacteria fell ill.

Yeah, MRSA gave me a scar, too. It got into my bloodstream, settled on my mitral valve and destroyed it. I now have a 14 inch scar down the center of my chest from having to have my chest cracked to have the valve replaced. I know you probably don't feel too lucky right now, but you are. Trust me.

Speedy recovery!
