I might have to check that out.

Of course the closest Big Lots is in the worst part of the city, so if I don't make it out safely, I am blaming you.

besafe mine is in a decent place i just hope its open to 10 pm. So it will be cooler Back in the day a dent headlamp would cost ya 30 bucks and would probably have a luxeon led. cant beat geting one with a cree 3 watt for 5 bucks. It has some smaller leds in it also

I'm not, but LED flashlights are great for my 3 year old son, long battery life and they don't get hot. He likes to take them to bed with him.

3-watts with only 50-60 lumens is not a genuine Cree. An real Cree XP-E @ 3w would be putting out 200-250 lumens. It's also very easy to disassemble those flashlights and upgrade the LED board to an XM-L for 1000-1100 lumens @ 10-watts (direct-drive 18650). Toss the crappy 3xAAA holders.

I've found this place to be a good source for LED lights and DIY supplies: www.easylightbuy.com (http://www.easylightbuy.com)
