For a tig welded road bike frame with traditional geometry, is Columbus spirit suitable for a 6'2" Clyde (230 or so)? Is there a weight at which this tubeset becomes too noodly for larger riders?
Thanks

Which Spirit tube set are you talking about? If you mean the ultra-thin shaped tubes then stiffness won't be a problem....longevity will. That's the same story with big fellas and any super light frame material.
the Spirit for lugs tube set has a lot more metal to it and would be fine for you for a road bike.
