Awesome - I had a crudely brazed hack, then moved on to a Gary Little John which we raced in BMX for a couple years back in the late 70s. Look for flat treated tires if possible, as very little leaning is done. It is possible to pick up the outside rider and hold them in the air, trippy it takes so little effort. Please wear a helmet, this do flip at a moment's notice. In fact, if we were feeling cruel, we would let the random people who would ask to ride it to ride it together. This usually ended up in a flip.

It is awfully cool. I remember seeing motorcycle sidecar rigs racing the Pikes Peak Hillclimb. Are you planning on doing other stuff to it?

Dad welded us up a 'hack around the same era. We lived very close to the LA river which used to turn into an algae slimepit when little water was flowing. My brother and I would pick up as much speed as possible, launch onto the slime and see how many donuts we could spin. As long as we hosed ourselves off before we came in the house, our folks were fine with it. Sooooo much fun.
