Hybrid Bicycles - Trek DS 8.3 and Topeak Bike Rack

Hi everyone. I just purchased a brand new Trek DS 8.3 and I need a bike rack for commuting to/from work. I was hoping to get this Topeak and I'm wondering if anyone can confirm that it works with the DS 8.3.

I just got the same bike and had a Topeak explorer rack put on. Make sure you get the one that is configured for disk brakes as the standard one won't fit.
What a great bike, had it about three weeks now, look forward to a ride everyday. Got an unusual unseasonal rainstorm that lasted all day yesterday and was grounded for the first time.

Another route to think about is the Bontrager Line from a Trek Store or online. I have the DS 8.5 and went with the Bontrager BackRack S with the snap on Bontrager Snap On Interchange Trunk and Interchange Grocery / Pannier. Nice little setup.

I've seent the bontrager but I alredy have some bags that fit the Topeak MTX system so I'm trying to stick with it.

It fits :) I did have to substitute 2 extra bolts from the hardware that came with the rack because the bolts with the DS (ones that attached to the frame near the seat) were just a bit too short. Good thing Topeak sends extras.
