That's really nice. Share some tech details. Camera? And how did you do the smooth pans?

258292I used a Canon point and shoot. For the pan shots I picked up this $4 Lady Bug kitchen timer at Bed Bath Beyond. Didn't have a chance to rig up secure tripod bolts to it. I ended up using the blue tape to secure the camera on top of the timer and the base to a tripod. You can only pan right to left with it. I over wound and broke the timer so my last pan shot was a bit shaky, it was pan by hand. It was my first time using the kitchen timer and I was pretty happy with the result.

Bug timer for a smooth pan. That's downright clever. Color me impressed.
As my friend says, I'm stealing the idea, and I'll credit you the first four times. After that, I thought of it.
