Hello all! I have resolved that it is time for me to get back in the saddle. The birth of my wife and I's second child has kept me off 2 wheels for long enough. I am weighing near 270, which I swore I would never reach my max weight of 275 before the Marine Corps, again. I am getting dangerously close to that weight and I don't want to be there. I have not trained on the bike for about 2 years and I have balooned in that time. I was about 230 then, but still not where I want to be.
My goal is to lose the almost 70 pounds to get back under 200. I have not visited this forum in ages either, so hello to everyone. I got the bike out last night and did some cleaning up on it. I am going to pick up some tubes this afternoon. I can't ride today as I just gave blood, but I will be at it on Thursday afternoon.

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
