Hey all!

I just received my Dawes Haymaker 1200, and was able to quickly put everything together - except for the front brakes. The outside brake pad is rubbing against the disc big time, and the mounting bolts are in extremely tight. I'm trying to use a 5mm allen key to loosen them, but I'm not sure which direction to turn, and I feel like I'm going to strip them.

Any tips? Thanks for your time!

I'm about at Section II, C, Step 2/3 (but in reverse; trying to remove it to adjust it):

Is your wheel on straight?

It should be left to loosen it.

Thanks guys!

I just got it. My wheel was on straight, but I just wasn't applying enough force. I thought I would strip it, but apparently its stronger than I thought. :D
