and we are loving it. Since this is my first post on the forums - a little background is in order. I've been riding bikes for the better part of 32 years. I've got a Kestrel Evoke road bike (actually it's new too - after riding two Steelmans over the past 10 years) and a Santa Cruz Blur MTB as well as a hardtail built from a Supergo Access frame. I have built my own bikes and do my own maintenance - as well as built up bikes for many friends. Full overhauls for a couple of good six packs :D

I've owned a tandem before - a Riedel custom built by Ian Riedel - a frame builder for Ibis Cycles. It was essentially a custom IBIS road tandem which I bought used. Sold it after a couple years because the ex-wife didn't like it. Fast forward to last December and my GF and I who have been riding together for the last year and half took out my buddy's CoMotion and had a blast. SO long story short - ordered one up in December and it arrived last week. Bascially it's a Speedster/Supremo hybrid - because I wanted some flexibility it being able to use it for not only club rides and century's but touring. We took it out a couple times last week and dialed it in. Here's the obligatory pic.

Congrats! It looks like a sweet bike. Co-Motion sure does make some sexy looking tandems!

Be prepared for a l-o-n-g lasting relationship!
Retired our Co-Mo after 'only' 57,000 miles of riding.
Our new 2-seater is an ariZona c/f custom . . . 26 1/2 lbs!
