Hello.

I see a lot of people who use H Plus Son wheels on their fixed bicycles. Is it possible for me to put a pair of the F30 on my Peugeot PH-8? I know they sell the whole wheel with spokes and a fixie hub at citygrounds.com, but I have a 10-speed and do not wish to change that. Do I then need to build my own wheel with a 10-speed hub?

Please bear with me, I'm new to this and learning as much as I can

Thanks!

F30's don't have a braking surface, so they wouldn't work on a ten speed.

But if they did, you could definitely build up a road set. F30's have the same profile as a Velocity Deep V, so you could use a machined set of those instead.

But the H Plus Son SL42 does, I think, so i could use that?

You could indeed. Whats your hub choice? Might I recommend Circus Monkey's if you haven't already chosen.

The available drillings are 24, 28, 32, and 36. Any reason for the 36h? Unless you're downhilling or are a really heavy weight rider, there really isn't a need to go higher than 32h.

Our very own Scrodzilla has them!

Great! The Circus Monkey only sell on eBay. I've tried googeling them.

Yeah, they'r really nice hubs for the money. They're light, strong, spin super smooth, and are ridiculously cost effective.
