sold my fuji. needed the money and the space, but now i'm really sad. going into my room now and not seeing it there just makes my heart ache. damn this emotional attachment to inanimate objects. :( it was a good ride while it lasted though.....can you please pass me the kleenex.

I am sorry to hear about your loss. I feel like I should send over a casserole or something.

yeah, i still have a couple of other bikes. and i'm hoping to start a restoration of an old 3 speed for a friend of mine. i guess there will be plenty to take my mind off the lose.

it's just werid since i didn't really think much about while i was selling it, but once it was gone i started to remember all the rides i went on, all the scenery and stuff.

Beautiful bikes sweep into our lives, toy with us awhile, and then move on.
Sadly, we move on, enriched by our short time together.

Until your next bike takes you over, you might try a women.
Sometimes, women can get us through times of no bikes.

you can liken it to a mother who has three children but has to sell one of them to help feed and shelter the others. it's a sad situation anyway you look at it.

It's more like having 3 starving kids, but must shoot one of them so that the others will have something to eat!

This is the attachment I have to (non)living things.

Natch! It's more like having 3 toilets in your house and not being able to take a dump in any of them since you don't have running water or electricity!! Or maybe not.

fixed as in reproductive wise? nah, you have to be careful otherwise boom! you've got a kid. then you'd have to sell all your bikes. or did you mean fixed, as in a fixed gear rider? sorry...she's not that either.

...or, boom! boom! boom!, sell 'em all, and buy yourself a new bike.
