Greetings! After several years of silence on here, and concentrating on the full time job, I have opened my dream shop(albeit part time). Here is a little bit about us and I look forward to helping you out anyway I can! I hope you will take a few minutes and check us out and if you are in the Baltimore area stop on in!
Service Course Cycle Studio is a small, high quality repair studio focusing on Road, Track, Cyclo-cross, Triathalon and Time-Trial Bicycles. At SCCS our desire is to provide you with a quality experience in maintaining your ride. Our focus is service, custom wheel building and fit at a fair price in a comfortable, inviting atmosphere. We have a large selection of high quality, specialty tools available to complete any repairs from the simple to the complex. We use only the best replacement parts and cycling specific lubrication and grease on your repair. You are welcome to stay and observe work being done and ask as many questions as you like. SCCS has a large selection of hard to find small parts in stock. SCCS is NOT a large retail store, however we will maintain a small, hand picked selection of quality components. SCCS will also have quality replacement parts including cables, housing, chains, cassettes and chainrings for components from Campagnolo, SRAM and Shimano. SCCS will be able to also order anything you desire. However, I know it is hard to pass up sales and deals online. As opposed to chastising you for not purchasing from me I welcome you to bring your parts in for installation. You are even welcome to drop off your bike and have the parts shipped to the studio. We have a library with classic cycling literature and modern books you are welcome to read or borrow along with several current cycling magazines. SCCS's owner and mechanic has 18 years experience in professional shops and with race teams around the country. He is a graduate of Barnett Bicycle Institutes Master Technician program and a current USA Cycling Licensed Mechanic. SCCS will have hours by appointment and a rotating schedule of open hours every week. Early morning and late night hours will also be available. Please email me with any questions or comments. I will get back to you within an hour or two (but usually less!)
