Funny- a co-worker just got her Honda Element back after running it into a tree. She swerved to avoid a coyote.
Yes, we've been making "Road Runner" jokes at her expense.

the article mentions the trapped in the car bear had shat in the car after destroying the interior in an effort to exit. or maybe it was a bear with an anti honda agenda. but it reminds me of a cat i knew once named dagmar. it was the second worst cat i ever knew. it got sick one day and decided to climb in my hatchback's window and shat in the rear hatch. when i discovered this smell, i immediately assumed a hobo with hygiene issues had spent the night. then i saw the shat and realized it was the cat, which dragged some of its shat over the driver's seat on exit. it was some very bad shat. it didn't smell at all human, really, so i was somewhat relieved my own species was not responsible for this particular horror.
i went with my neighbor when she gave up that cat for a normal one. she cried. i did not.

He said he did not have any food in the car but did have a used garbage bag inside.
A used garbage bag.
I recycle everything I can but a used garbage bag? Sounds unsanitary.

I'm curious as to how the bear got in the car in the first place.
I guess this guy has learned that if he hears his car horn honking at 3 am, he shouldn't put off investigating it.
no motor?

Me too. Was it related to the bear with his head stuck in the honey pot in Winny the Pooh?

I was thinking the same thing. Sounds like there is the possibility of insurance fraud? We see photos of the aftermath, but I know if there was a bear trapped in MY car I'd be taking a photo or two just to prove it.
Although there was the time the aliens broke into my liquor cabinet and emptied all the expensive tequila and I missed the photo opportunity. Aliens love tequila.

bears are renowned for the poop on the parked car trick. there's a vid of a bear ripping the top off of a sports car convertible, climbing up on top and poopin in the car.
