- If you have a tent, bring it. No shade in the infield.
- Bring a camping chair. There are benches in the infield, but they fill up quick. Or you can sit in one of the bleacher areas off away from the spectators. That's where some racers sit, but it's not shaded.
- The racing is pretty clean and friendly. We all have to go to work on Monday, right?
- The track has a double dip in the sprinter's lane in the middle of turns 3 and 4. Don't dig into your saddle there. It's pretty much a punch in the nuts...and will break your saddle. I broke one earlier this season as well as 3 of my teammates. Maybe throw a backup saddle in your car just in case. You probably won't need it, though.
The vibe is pretty laid back and fun. Somewhere between TTown Saturday Masters & Rookie racing and the Friday night racing.

Thanks for the info. I did my first velo racing at DLV back in 1990, but I am sure its changed since then.

Was the hump in turns 3/4 there back then?

I don't quite remember. I think there was a tree and a creek down in that area though.

Oddly enough, we learn where all of the humps are. It's rough, but it's home.
