You should not take your bike apart, unless you absolutely know what you are doing!

Now take your bike to any LBS and have them to check it out!

Also, look for any bicycle co-ops in the area.

Good Luck! :thumb:

I just dont have the extra cash right now.And it does sound better i know more tonight when i go ride it. I can usually fix things. but i found out ill need a crank puller to be able to take it all the way down

That's why Slim recommended you find a co-op in your area. They'll show you how to diagnose and fix it, at a minimum of expense.

You're in Atlanta, right? I plugged "bicycle cooperative atlanta" into Google (http://www.google.com/#sclient=psy-ab&hl=en&q=bicycle+cooperative+atlanta&oq=bicycle+cooperative+at&gs_l=hp.1.0.0i30.2922.16539.0.20700.22.15.0.7.7.0.117.1269.14j1.15.0...0.0.Y7tFq75TIwc&pbx=1&bav=on.2,or.r_gc.r_pw.,cf.osb&fp=8434e9ea315f3faf&biw=1366&bih=654) and Bing (http://www.bing.com/search?q=bicycle+cooperative+atlanta&qs=n&form=QBLH&pq=bicycle+cooperative+atlanta&sc=2-20&sp=-1&sk=). The results of both can be viewed by clicking on the appropriate links.

If the clunking sound happens with each pedal rotation I would try removing the pedal and greasing the threads. That usually does the job for me.
