Just curious if anyone here likes Brian Setzer, or Stray Cats. I've seen the Brian Setzer Orchestra Christmas Extravaganza two years in a row now. Stray Cats still rock. I bought "Rumble in Brixton", the latest DVD from the Stray Cats European tour, and it's totally awesome.

Was in a N.Y. retro psycedelic band called The Bloodless pharaohs.
You might enjoy:
101'ers -Joe Strummers first band.
Robert Gordon -Rockabilly revivalist.
Link Wray -The real man in black. Bullshot is a wicked album.
"your going nowhere fast, you're sure to get there last." B.Setzer -Bloodless Pharaohs

I've seen him live 2 or 3 times. Puts on a pretty rockin show. It was funny to see the Setzer wannabes walking around with pompadours & zoot suits.
Actually I loved Stray Cats as a kid. Went to one of their concerts and was 5 rows out.. Brian Setzer is a really talented guy.. His current music is not quite my test, but he does it well and gotta give him a lot of credit..

I like the Stray Cats, pretty much any rockabilly/psychobilly. Link Wray, Horton Heat, 5,6,7,8's. Surf style like the Phantom surfers, Laika and the csomonauts, Man or AstroMan or oldschool like the Ventures And of course swing old and new.

Horton Heat rocks. I also Nekromantix, they're pretty cool. And Tiger Army is awesome.

I suggest you might like a band named Shockabilly.
Featured Kramer from Bongwater, and Ugene Chadbourne.

Setzer fan right here. Favorite song... all of them. Rockabilly will never die! When my fiance got me the CD\mp3 player for my truck, I went straight home, and ripped a CD. The MP3's are in such order Straycats/Setzer, RevHo (REverend Horton Heat), Mike Ness/Social D, Tiger Army, Luxurious Panthers (local band), Chris Isaak, Cochran, and then the various euro-billy stuff. That was December of 03... only times that CD comes out is to play the regular CDs.

I love Boogie Woogie Christmas.
I like all the stuff I hear of his, but for whatever reason I only have that one disc.
