a cousin emailed me a pic of this bike stand somewhere in nashville. he said it is in front of a radio station.

have you seen any interesting bike racks?

there is a bike co-op in east denver that has vegetable shape cutouts in their racks. will try to
remember to take a cam next time i'm there (probably not soon). golden
has cruiser shaped racks.

on the other hand i see a lot of bike shops with no racks for customers' bikes. ?????

I've seen a few McDonalds restaurants with similar bicycle-shaped bike racks, and one shaped like a cup of steamy coffee. No pics though.

A local brewpub here has a rack made from old steel bike frames. If I ever get around there with a camera (or my phone) I'll try to get a pic to post.

the mcd's i've seen that had racks were the sine wave ones. the coffee one sounds interesting!

this is at belmar library for you westside folk (lakewood, colorado).
couldn't get my 26" tire in anywhere, so sideways it was.
the library's roof is shaped like an open book.

the local bus company has 'trees' scattered here and there at major transfer places.
the bikes hang vertically from front tire, in a circle, and there is an umbrella on top.
will try to remember to score a couple of pics. the bus co. also has lockers they
rent for 6 months at a whack. will try for them, too.
