I just like to quote fellow posters on occasion....especially if they give me a good chuckle.

since he's not here, have you seen Digital Cowboys sig? he can only get 4 post per page with that thing.

If you want to mess with people then go to your non-cycling forum and list your bikes, then on your bike forum list your other equipment.

I remember when I first got into cycling I bought a simple bike, back in those days it was a Peugeot. I just rode it, I didn't care what the components are. I had a friend that got into cycling and he was telling me one day every component in his bike, probably down to which spokes he had. I was pretty bored with his explanation thinking it was extreme and unnecessary. Of course later I got into cycling more and could have done the same thing myself but I knew that most listeners would not appreciate it. I could do it now- provide a huge list of the equipment on my old custom framed bike. But that bike is kaput and I'm riding a cheap Trek that my father gave me so I'm back to the ride it and don't worry about what's in it stage. I have no income so I'm doing good just to buy tubes for the darned thing. I can't even afford a frame pump right now so this morning when I had a flat I had to walk a mile home.
