Anyone use them? What do you think of them.
I've used NATOs . Like the look very much and they are great if your strap is gonna get wet a lot. But they do not last long in my experience, and if your watch is heavy they slide around a lot. Which, for me, meant I had to wear them uncomfortably snug after they broke in. I'd say they're best for a slim/light case.

I use Nato straps on many of my watches, up to the Seiko Orange Monster size. I buy them of heavy-gauge nylon strapping, and my watches don't slide around, and the straps pretty much last forever. I toss them in the washing machine to clean them. I like the Nato straps far more than leather straps or metal bracelets.

down here in the afrikan heat te NATO straps tend to quickly start smelling bad. if you are in a warm part of the world, stay away from it. Also, do you really want someting thid strong around your wrist when cycling?

Good point; mine were either the super cheap kind at wally world (just a nylon strap, not a true NATO) or the halfway decent ones for about $30 online. I am sure there are better ones.
For watches I'm gonna sweat in I prefer metal bracelets. My cycling watch is just a cheap Sigma HR computer with a rubber strap - practical but I hate the feel of rubber on my skin...I prefer metal when commuting. Leather straps just start to reek after a ride or two.

I have used NATO straps and also ZULU straps. I like ZULU straps more because they are thicker material and they have heavier hardware.
Right now in my collection I have 4 ZULU straps and 1 NATO strap.
