Greeting, new to the forum. I am stepping up from a Brezzer Uptown to a Surly CrossCheck. For this bike, for me, sometimes I feel like a rack, sometimes I don't. I saw a rear rack that had oval fittings on the dropouts that the rack legs fit into and the top of the rack had a quick release that connected to the seat post. The rack had an attachment system for a trunk bag or other bags. I can not recall where I saw this but the site had a cool video on how to install the rack.

I am asking if anyone know what this is, could you please post the info.

Thanks

Kip

some racks use a lower mount of the Hub's QR skewer ..

then you just unscrew 2 5mm bolts into the seatstay ..

or onto the 6mm bolt that mounts the brakes..
