Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

What are your goals?
Do you have a HRM that you can download into a computer?

Hello . Well goals. to be able to ride long distances in a faster time. Develop more power.
I do the odd race event every year. To be overall a better rider.
Now would a HRM be of good use? would that be needed to help out?
If so what types you recommend and what programs should i follow thanks

Find coach first. Technology second. Use what the coach suggests to make the most of your coaching dollar.
