Hey guys,
I'm trying to remember which race it was when they descended an unpaved road, that many riders switched to mountain bikes on the summit. I can't remember if it's the Giro or the Tour, or what year it was. Thanks!

There was a stage in the Giro, like, two years ago, that ended with an unpaved section but I don't recall anyone switching to mountain bikes...seems like that would be forbidden. They definitely had wheels and gearing suitable for it but MTBs? I can't imagine so.

That's the strade bianche, but I'm not talking about that.
