I think these bicycles are hybrids. Which one is better and how much would you pay for each?

There's not a lot you can tell from the pics. Better pics would help. How much is the seller asking for each of these?

the giant is $75

Humm, very cheap prices, either are a decent entry level hybrid. $25 is trival, cost wise, I'd RIDE both and see how they FIT you. Shift the gears, look for RUST, Filth, etc. and decide by which one FEELS better, I do like the adj. stem and the platform pedals on the Trek better, jmho, ymmv.

That trek looks small; if you can straddle the giant with some clearance, it is probably a better size and a better buy.

yeah it did feel a little tight

maybe 15" frame

If you mean too tight because your crotch touched the top tube, then get the Trek. The key is being able to stand flat footed over the frame with some clearance. These are hybrids and they're upright so a little xtra clearance is fine.

Hard to tell from the pics, but that Giant looks kinda old...

Description of components, gearing, etc.--something about the actual bikes themselves--would let people here give you better advice than just going from two general photos.
