The CDLV 650b tire is what I've ridden for years. Very happy with them, especially in view of the price they sell for. After 3 years they're starting to show their age, though. Rivendell shows them as discontinued. Does that mean only that Rivendell's stopped stocking them or that the tire is no longer made? If anybody knows I'd appreciate the information, as I'd buy a new set before they disappear from the market altogether. Otherwise I'll ride the ones I have until they threaten to fail.
Thanks,
Chas.

Don't know, but you can stock up for $20.40 each here:

I think a lot of Panaracer tires may be between production runs right now. Nashbar is nearly out of 700C and 27" Paselas, and the 26"x1.75" ones have gotten scarce too.

Thanks to you both. A few days after posting this I called Rivendell and they told me that they discontinued the sale of the tire on their own, because it wasn't selling well (perhaps because it sells cheaper elsewhere?). I did not know about hiati in the production runs. Not sure what I'll do if they disappear, since there's no real alternative in that price range as far as I know.Chas.
