I have and use the Cane Creek Ergo Control bar ends, and like them alot. I'm considering trying the ERGON brand of grips to replace the "foam" type i have. My question is, can I still use the Cane Creeks with the ERGON GP-1 grips. Anyone know or have done this?

Thanks, John

Simple answer: they work very, very well together.
If you like the Cane Creek positioning, go for it. I've used the combination (won't use anything other than Ergon grips), but prefer a slightly more 'forward' bar end position. Nevertheless, it's a great combination; highly recommended by Thorn Cycles in the U.K., for example, who are (as it were) 'flat-bar bike' specialists.

Thanks for the great reply. I'm assuming your using a ERGON 2,3,4 or 5 version.

Thanks, John

You are very welcome! Nope ... I use bog-standard GP-1s (Small size), with Specialized bar ends on my road bike; GP-1s by themselves on my mtb. Been using 'em for going on 6 or 7 years now (whenever the things became available).
