Sweet. I've tried pickling my own peppers but I can't seem to keep the crunch I like. If I get them pickled, they're to soft. If they're still crunchy, they taste like raw peppers.

My family does bread and butter jalapeņos. My thing is making dill pickles (i mix in cucumbers, baby squash, and okra) with some heat to them.

I want to learn how to make fresh dill pickles without garlic... if that's possible. I do make japanese cucumber salad alot which is sortof a fresh pickle... love it. My favorite! No need to can, they don't last that long!
