Today was the first day on my bike for a few weeks without ANY pain! Man did it feel good. And a couple firsts too!

I started off leaving around 4:10 am. I rode to the drub store. They said the pharmacy was open 24 hours and I needed to pick up a script but they were wrong. Damn it. But I got some extra miles out of it.

Then I decided to bike from work in Camden to my Weight Watchers meeting in Voorhees. That was a first for me. I have been laid up for the past few weeks so it gave me time to map out and drive the route and today I tested it. A couple sketchy roads but other then that it was pretty good. Sorta hot for commuting but the love to be back on the bike really was worth it.

I got in around 33 miles today on my commuter which was the most I have ridden it in one day. Very nice!

It certainly is a good feeling.

On July 4th I did my first ride since my crash on June 2nd. Only about 9 miles. Saturday I got in about 17 miles. Sunday the GF and I rode up the Lehigh Gorge Trail and back, for a total of about 45 miles. And I have rode to work a fews times. This was all on the LHT

I am planning to get back on the road bike Saturday. 45 miles to Ambler and back. Got New Hope-Brooklyn and then Cycle Oregon in September. Got to get ready.

I could not ride in this morning bc of work stuff but I got up this morning and wow, I forgot how much it hurt to start cycling after too much time off the bike. Legs hurt! lol

Felt so good to log the miles!

Glad you got on the bike bro. It is a great feeling.

You know much about the Neighborhood Bike Works in Philly? Looking to check out some of the mechanic classes there.

One thing I cannot figure out is how to get to the BF bridge from Campbells in Camden. GRRRRRRRRRR

May tomorrow feel as good as today, may you not have any backward steps, but if you do, remember that you will go forward again.
