just got a nice pair of shimano revo shift grip shifters (thank you Box of Crap!), i want to replace the sram ones on my trek 7500 multitrack,
the shimanos are more ergo and i like the shifting action of them, the srams feel more forced and don't always feel clean..
i know that the sram ones are pretty good and are quality but i was wondering if anybody had experience with the shimanos, and if they are of equal quality to the sram
My experience with the Shimano Revo Shifters are that they are more cheaply made than the Sram ones, but work better. There may be a difference in robustness of construction or in durablity, but neither are very good in this regard.
I do not like the Sram gripshifters - at least the SHimano compatible ones - I have no experience with the ones meant for Sram derailleurs. My experience with Shimano compatibleStram gripshifters is similar to yours in terms of the less good feel than the Shimano.
Which one is easier to re-cable?
