I am thinking of getting a Fox DHX 5.0 rear shock for my bike which is a 03 Specialized big hit comp. The original Fox Vanilla R bust so i thought i'd have a look at whats available. Does anyone have any idea if the 9.5x3'' shock would fit my bike. I would also be interested to hear from anyone who has had the chance to try this paticular shocker out. Thanks, Ian

i recomend you look at specialized web site to see if it will fit. But the Dhx is and awsome shock. I just bought one for my ride a week ago and im loving it. It is d one of the best shocks out on the market right now and no one seems to be having any mecanical problems with it. it rides so smooth and takes hits and big drops no problem thanks to the bottom out resistance.

get the proper sized shock, and get an avalanche dhs. that is THE best freeride/dh shock on the market, bar none.
