Books, Movies, Music & Entertainment - books about cycling

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

In my search for cycling related books, I have come across the following:
A Race for Madmen: A History of the Tour de France
by Chris Sidwells
Merckx: Half Man, Half Bike
by William Fotheringham
Slaying the Badger: LeMond, Hinault and the Greatest Ever Tour de France
by Richard Moore
Obsessive Compulsive Cycling Disorder
by Dave Barter
Greg Lemond's Complete Book of Bicycling
French Revolutions
I have only ordered the last two for now, but was wondering if anyone had any other favourite cycling related books (preferably ones that aren't just route maps)?

Bicycle Science was good, but it gets really technical at some points.
Brandts, "The Bicycle Wheel" was good.
I particularly liked these:
A Dog in a Hat: An American Bike Racer's Story of Mud, Drugs, Blood, Betrayal, and Beauty in Belgium by Joe Parkin
The Rider by Tim Krabbe
Breaking the Chain: Drugs and Cycling: The True Story by Willie Voet

Heft On Wheels by Mike Magnuson. This is one of my favorites about how the author quit smoking, lost weight and how cycling took over his life.
Just Ride by Grant Petersen. I am still reading this one, he presents some very interesting thoughts about cycling.

I just got "Wheels of Change: How Women Rode the Bicycle to Freedom (With a Few Flat Tires Along the Way)" from Amazon and it's really interesting. More of a picture book than an indepth book, but it's got lots of fun stuff in it that wasn't in any of my school history books.

Cycle Sport Magazine's on-line shop has a great selection of biographies. Some of the titles are about the lesser known early stars of cycling and aren't available very readily. I live in the USA and have ordered from them several times; they offer prompt, friendly customer service, and quality products - I highly recommend them.

Bicycling Bliss (http://www.bicyclingbliss.com/) by Portia Masterson is good about life-long bicycling.
It's all about the Bike (http://www.nytimes.com/2011/06/05/books/review/book-review-its-all-about-the-bike-by-robert-penn.html) by Robert Penn, chronicles one man building his dream bike, and visiting the factories and people who influenced it.

I'm impressed with this book. The reviews on Amazon are overwhelmingly positive, and I agree with them. The book is well-written and very engaging. Quite enjoyable.
