Hi there,
Started off with a mountain bike a few years ago and started working for a company called Active.com so I got back into it again. I currently own a Trek Mountain bike and also a Cannondale Quick Hybrid style bike. Mostly into leisure riding with my kids but will be participating in my first duathlon next weekend.

I'm looking forward to learning more and more about bikes from this forum.

Check in with Mike Drury and Co at Pulse Endurance Sports on East H Street (Rancho del Rey area). Great people. Mike and Ian are triathletes, but spend a lot of time pounding the trails down there, so I am sure they can tell you good places to ride. They also have a Saturday shop ride.

With Active.com you also have access to a great wellness/fitness program (ActiveX), and lots of resources/people to ask for help.
