I can just hear it ask, "does this box make me look fat?"

Oh, I did! But then I had to put it all back in. I have to wait a couple of days for it to be built.

lol

Inside, she is a beautiful slate grey, which is a very chic & slimming color.

She does have fat tires tho, but to me, fat tires are lovely.

Carbon or aluminum?

What's a Yeti? Isn't it some kind of snow Sasquatch?

Best way to Keep a Yeti. Let it out in the winter when the snow is about--Saves it getting dirty.

Carbon or aluminum?

Aluminum. I would have had to sell a whole lot more jewelry to get carbon.

I like the aero design and understated color.

Surely you can find someone on the forum to build it up for you-- I would offer but it might take a while before you got it back with carriage- testing----and testing----and testing

And it might be a bit dirty when you got it back.

Here she is, unboxed. Yeti ARS5, Slate Grey color, medium frame size, Enduro Plus kit.

Sorry for the photo. We don't have a garage, and the only place with room for a photo is the living room, which we are in the middle of renovating. (Which paint color do you like?)

We're going for a ride this morning!

Paint color, bike or walls?

Nice bike.

Nice bike.

Color for walls: Farrow and Ball "skimming stone", an almost grey that looks warm at times and almost blue at others. Very relaxing.

Made by Farrow and Ball. British company, but they sell in North America too.

Website here (http://us.farrow-ball.com/).

(Of course the color looks completely different in real life than it does on the internet)

How do we know there is anything in the box? :)

I had the UPS man deliver a high end road bike frame set to me once. He asked me check the box in his presence to see if there was anything in it.

I'm not much of an off-roaster but of I were that would be a great bike to add to the stable.

I only have room in my life for two bikes (three if you count the tandem) and city life means an MTB is wasted.

That said I only recently gave up my original ridgeback 501 and looking at this bike makes me realise just how far MTB's came since those days and ALMOST makes me want to own one again. Esecially since I test rode a bamboo bike in mtb format recently and it rode like a dream but no way I could afford even if had space.

Enjoy!
