If I try to post to BF from IE, I get errors, browser asking me if I want to leave webpage, etc.

If I open Chrome, can post just fine. Have deleted temp. files, etc. Have not done a complete restart. Anyone else complaining of such issues?

What version of IE, and go ahead and leave the page on the prompt, see if it posts. It may be a cookie issue.

I've noticed that while using IE9, if I click inside the text box and start typing, then decide not to respond after all, I will get that pop-up dialog box if I don't hit 'Cancel' before trying to navigate away from the page.

Side note: Comodo Dragon 20.0.1.0 appears to have a cookie issue or something. I'll visit a thread, go back to the index page, and the thread will still be 'bolded', even if the last poster was myself.

How'd you disable the 'auto-update'? I'm currently running Chrome 20.0.1132.57...

I didn't. That is the version of my IE.

Chrome is the same version as you are running.
