Clydesdales/Athenas (200+ lb / 91+ kg) - My Weight Watchers Journey at 6 Months

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

A week from today marks 6 months that my wife and I have been on WW. We have used the online version and have not attended meetings. I have strictly followed the plan, to the letter, and as of today my weight loss is 30.4 pounds. Average loss per week is 1.2 pounds. I've done everything the plan has asked, and the plan has delivered exactly what it promised, and I could not be happier. Thanks to WW, aggressive (what I call "Gonzo") walking and regular utilitarian bicycling! :thumb:

Nice job! I think I also need to introduce something other than cycling to boost my weight loss. I'm at about 2-3lbs per month. VERY slow but steady.

Well done sir!

Nice work!

I'm a "super Clydesdale" and I've also lost nearly 30 pounds after five months on WW; I think it's pretty easy if you're reasonably committed.

That is great. I stopped WW mostly because the wife wasn't willing to do the program. Cost was an excuse, so now I use a free online calorie counter. I attribute my continuing progress to many of the things learned on WW. Now I just have to work on her other excuses.
