Hi, I was wondering if anyone has any info on the value of this rack. Its most likely from the teens or early 20s. I know its very hard to find one of these. Double faced, blue and white, enameled on iron. (18" x 24") I wish I was rich so I could keep it but I'm not and could use the extra cash. Here is a picture and a picture of the rack in use! Thanks for the help.

Can you spot the bicycle rack and sign? San Francisco, May, 1933.

I don't know what the value is but the picture makes it worth appreciably more - and like ANY antique, so too would any additional information you might have on its provenance - Especially to interested persons on the West Coast: Eg;
The story of the Postal Telegraph company. (http://www.sfmuseum.org/hist11/pacificpostal.html)
You might even contact the Western Union Company to see if they would be intersted in it for their historical archives:

The guys at American Pickers bought one at a recent episode. Mike (the former bike rider and shop owner) said that it was worth quite a bit.

I did watch the episode. I remember Mike saying he only saw one before and Frank saying he never saw one. They been picking for 30+ years and really never saw one before?? Seems strange.. Thanks alot for the links.
