would there be any interest in expanding the profile section to include some more info on riding habits? i'm thinking it might be interesting to be able to tell if someone is a commuter, a tourer, or a racer and maybe how many miles they ride a year, goals, achievments, etc... by clicking on their profile. of course, it would be optional to fill out. thoughts?

That'd be cool, so long as people can either select multiple types of riding, or can enter in what they want (which would be risky). I'm sure that there are many members who fit more than one category. I once was a commuter and a tourer and rode for fitness. My brother would fit commuter, racer & fitness. Plus we both ride both road and MTB.

You would need at least as many categories as we have bicycle-type-related forums - maybe more.
