I am switching my 3/32 set-up to 1/8" for my Track Bike. The bike I purchased is new and I have raced about 10 times on it and perhaps 1 or 2 seperate training rides in the track itself.

That said I am pretty ignorant to what Brand or specific chain would be best. Bear in mind that there are about 6-7 weeks left on my velodromes circuit so getting
something from overseas does not make sense.

Additionally I would guess something affordable would be the right direction.

thanks

Rob

Izumi ECO or the KMC K710 or K710-SL. The K710s you can probably find at any local shop that serves fixed gear or BMX customers. Any local bike shop can get at least one of them from their distributors.

Both are around $20-30 depending on where you get them.

I don't skimp on my chains. They are (obviously) very important. So, I stay away from the budget chains.

Thanks all , That should work. I'm not a weight weenie, but a busted chain is not gonna get me to the finish line.

No reason to be a weight weenie on the track.
