Well.. not really. But almost!
I was feeling smart today and decided to take the drill to the back of my fender to pop 2 holes in it so I can zip tie an extension on it. Anyway, the smart engineer I am, I went ahead and braced the rear fender against the tire, my armadillo nimbus 26x1.5 @ 90psi (DUH!) and started drilling. With the speed set on high, it went through the fender in about 3 seconds and completely DOVE into my rear tire with my mighty god-like grip pushing on the drill.
Oh sh*t! I thought, expecting to hear the hiss of air escaping if I dared back the drill out. So after standing there in the boiler room for about 2 hours next to the boiler, piss running down my pants, drill in hand, now stuck through the rear fender in the rear wheel, drool running down my mouth and a look of disbelief, I decided I should probably go back to work or I'll be fired, so I back the drill out.
Gasp! No hiss! I looked and there's a 1/8" hole in the tire going all the way into the beads, it looked like it twisted and broke about 2 strands of beading. But all looks good, 90psi still in the rear.
