Professional Cycling For the Fans - What crankset did Bradley Wiggins use on his TT bike

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
In a picture on Facebook it looked like his chainring was elliptical, was it just an optical illusion?

I can't tell you the chainset he uses, but it is elliptical. Definitely not an optical illusion. He used one for most of his races.
