You must have put the high gear on it for a reason so trust your judgement and just get out and ride. After a week of not riding it- it probably has rusted up so clean it- oil it and sell it if you can't ride it.:innocent:

That's insane. No one should ever go an entire week without riding unless he/she spends that week hiking in a wilderness area that does not allow bikes.
