Foo - Headphones for sports use

I've been using a set on Sony headphones for about 5 years, but they have finally kicked the bucket (left ear cuts in and out). They are over-the-head style with thin little bud-like things that you stick in your ears. Overall I was pretty impressed with them, except they made my ears sore after prolonged use.

I'm going to get some new ones today. Does anyone have reccomendations for headphones they use in sporting activities? I plan to use them for running mostly so they'll need to be able to stay put and handle alot of sweat.

've read on audiophile sites that it can.

I don't think that listening to music at a reasonable level while running a couple times a week will cause me to be deaf in 5-10 years. It's all the rock concerts and dynamite experiments I do that will cause me to go deaf.

Hmmm People try to tell me to where ear plugs while drumming, its funny i cant here them i only see there mouths moving.....oh welll :rolleyes:

Get the sony ear buds with the "silent cap" thing.
It doesn't completely block out sound like a pair of canal phones but it also muffles outside noise enough.

I don't like ear buds. They always fall out of my ears way too easily.

not sure if these are for ipods only, but these are AWESOME!! they work better when you're sweating too! the sweat makes them kinda stick to you.. its cool!
