I'm wondering wether the travel on my 2001 marzocchi z3 coil shock can be changed to 130mm.
The site where I bought it advertised it as 80/100mm only, but the manual says it has a 130mm option too.
Could the manual be referring to older versions? It is a 2001 manual...
Does anyone know if it can be done?

i think it is probably quite unlikely that you can adjust to 130mm, however, the manual might be referring to a long travel edition of your shocks, hence the 130mm, or you might be able to get a long travel coil spring set from Marzocchi. Probably best asking your lbs where you bought the shox or try giving them a ring.

it depends on what model z3 you have. some can go to 130mm, some cant. im no expert, so i cant say what specific models can and cant.

to find out youd need to rip the fork apart(or have a shop do it for you....then again, a shop should know without ripping it apart). basically, if your fork has 20mm top out springs then your stuck at 100mm....if it has 50mm top out springs, then you can buy a 130mm spring kit to get 130mm.

ive got a z3 flylight 100, running coils......i could go to 130mm, as i have 50mm top out springs.....but it would probably throw my geometry off wack.
