Hi,
I have a Ford thinkbike "fun". The most definitive info I can find is here: http://media.ford.com/article_display.cfm?article_id=3546

I'm looking for any info I can find for it, especially a user's manual with descriptions of the behavior and the lights on the handlebar thinkbrain. Better would be service manual and scematics.

I got impatient trying to troubleshoot it, bought a generic 300 watt DC motor controller, hooked up a PIC microcontroller to read the throttle and PWM the motor controller. It all works, but now blows the 30A fuse which is internal to the battery pack. I need to limit the motor current. I suspect that the battery pack communicated the current drain to the motor controller to limit max current. Or the motor controller had it's own current sense. But since the battery pack has an nice (but unknown value) current shunt, I thought I'd use it.

Any info and even parts availability would be appreciated.

I don't read the forum much so please copy jdwronski at charter dot net with replies if you can.
