Wow. Lime Rock Park. Hallowed racing ground... bikes rocking through Big Bend? Epic. Good luck; here's hoping you have a huge turnout!
raced that 20+ years ago.
it rained: just enough to bring up the oil + not enough to wash it away = crashfest.

You know, I bet you were in the race with me. It was a very sparse 2-3 race, some guy Todd I think from Cannondale/Bethel won it after jumping from who knows how far away from the line. Gene Center and myself sprinted for second (he just beat me but our places got swapped because he took me from the right side to the left - he tried to close a 40 foot door). I think almost everyone fell, in fact I think I fell.
Regardless I'm going there on Sunday. Looking forward to it.

After getting completely annihilated today I'm going to skip the race tomorrow. Doing 10 minutes of racing (my expectation) for 3-4 hours of driving isn't worth it, and I have too many things to do at home. Today's race was not good, lasted way less than 20 minutes.

I know what you mean. I'll do races near me, but the days of driving hours for a race are gone.

It seems like there is enough of a hill to be a pretty selective course.
