yesterday my chain snapped, and start wondering about the half link chain, i heard they are suppose to be stronger then regular chain?!?!

any advise??

Are you going to be racing at T-town with this chain? If the answer is no this thread should be here (http://www.bikeforums.net/forumdisplay.php/178-Singlespeed-amp-Fixed-Gear?).

But yes, in theory half link chains are stronger. But a well maintained chain will last plenty long for everything you will ever need. Make sure to keep your chain well cleaned and greased. The more slack the better, it cuts way down on drag too. So it saves on chainwear as well as power. Generally every one really like the Izumi chains.

Sounds like a maintenance issue. Have you had your chain checked for stretch?

Kayce gives good advice about chain maintenance leaving the chain as slack as you can without putting it in danger of coming off.
