Be careful what you put on a carbon frame. And watch out for over spray.

well here in michigan u wax your carto stop the salt from destrying your paint and turning you car into pile of rust so maybe it would work on a bike oh and if i had a carbon frame i dont think i would make it my winter ride id save it for clean roads

Yes, and taking the time to it clean works 100% of the time. Leaving nothing to chance.

wax the beast, why not? Cooking spray might attract racoons...
Actually when I go out Mt Biking on Snow trails I spray My cleats and the pedals with Non-stick Cooking Spray and it does help keeping my cleats/pedals from clogging up with snow.
