So I have been looking for some type of training schedule and I can't find anything. Maybe I just suck at searching for it or what im looking for isn't out there. Here what I'm looking for example something like Monday Endurance ride, Tuesday sprint intervals ,Wednesday Group ride Thursday Rest ect. Now it doesn't need to say that I just pulled that out of no where but something like that.

I will be getting a power meter soon so I can better track my progress and make sure I'm actually doing the workout but until then I'll have to go with how it "Feels"

Thank for the help

Get copies of Friel's training bible, and Allen and Coggan's racing and training with a power meter.

That'll show you how to use the PM and how to build your own training schedule. Much better than using someone's canned program.

Hey Brew here is my canned program :) :
Monday - recovery ride
Tuesday - short intervals
Wednesday - long endurance ride
Thursday - Long Intervals
Friday - rest or short recovery ride
Saturday/Sunday - race or hard effort one of the two days.

^thats similar to mine except i have a training race on tuesday, intervals on wednesday and endurance on thursday.
I'm pretty sure thats the general outline of what friel says to do in his book (either rkwaki's way or my way. he offeres intervals or endurance for tuesday, wednesday and thursday).

My coach is from italy and been at it for 39 years. It's old school but for the most part most coaching methodology will be some iteration of that plan.

i was commenting on your coach's resume, not your use of colloquial synonyms.

Basically what I was looking for I have a book "Training and Racing With a Power Meter 2nd Edition" So I will probably use the above base with the workouts in the book. Thanks everyone

rkwaki's plan is unspecific and open for all sorts of interpretation. Having said that, it's also a damned fine road map. Venture from it at your own peril.
