Bicycle Mechanics - ticking spoke, quits after 10 mins of riding.

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Every day when I leave my house my bike makes a ticking sound. It happens whether I pedal or not and speeds up if I go faster so I'm assuming it has something to do with a wheel. Also based off of pitch it sounds like a spoke.
Neither wheel appears out of true and no spoke feels loose.
After riding for about 10-20 mins the ticking goes away, but returns at the start of the next ride.
Any idea what this could be? The only thing I can think of is the something to do with the temperature change from going inside the house to outside (difference of 25-30 degrees right now).

Fretting...
Find the guilty pair, see what a drop of light weight oil does at the crossing...
It if returns...closer examination may be warranted...

Do you have a speedo magnet attached? Does it rub? Does moving it change anything? Just some ideas...

Thought of that, but it doesn't appear to be the problem.

Some rims have a piece of metal inside at the joint which aligns the ends when it is built. Sometimes those can become loose and make ticking sounds. I had a rim once that would always make the ticking sounds below ~6mph, driving me nuts on the steepest climbs. At higher speeds it made no sounds at all.

My wireless computer sometimes ticks at lower speeds. Without any contact. Like a spark jumping the gap is the closest I can come to describing it.
